Tom and Liz Gates lived and worked at Friends Lugulu Hospital in western Kenya from 1991 to 1994, and returned for shorter stays in 1997 and 2000. They returned to Lugulu in 2010: Tom to work at the hospital from March through May, Liz visiting Lugulu in April, and then participating in FWCC committee meetings in May.
In April 2012, Tom and Liz return to Kenya, for the the FWCC World Conference of Friends, April 17-25, at Kabarak University.
